| BOGART Bogart is a male Wheatable. Best guess is a Wheaten/Briard type mix. His DOB is 9/05 Bogie is a owner turn-in. The reason given was that he got loose several times and chased the neighbors cat causing him to call animal control and even took a few shots at him on more than one occassion. They were scared that he would hit him if he gets loose again. Bogie is very laid back and sweet. Gets along well with other dogs. Will chase cats but the previous owner did not believe he would have actually hurt the cat if he did catch it. He is a beautiful boy with a nice thick coat and a majestic long tail. As you can see in the pics, he has black spots on his tongue. It is a common misconception that any dog with black pigment on the tongue has chow in it. This is just an old wives tale and is not true. Unfortunately Bogie's coat was one huge matt underneath and we had no choice but to shave him down. But, it is just fur and will grow back. Plus those ears are just too cute! He is neutered and up to date on shots and is located in the Kansas City, MO area. |
