| BUDDY Buddy is a male Wheatable. His estimated DOB is 6/00 Buddy is a owner turn-in. Below is some info from them: I was able to adopt a wheaten terrier mix that I named Buddy. At the time, the shelter found Buddy he was a stray living in a wooded area w/ a running creek. I saw his picture online and amazingly thought that I had finally found the dog I had been looking for. (Wheaten's are my favorite and I have been a follower of your website, always looking, always hoping and then I found Buddy.) We were getting along famously, and I think he was as happy to find me as I was to find him. When originally adopted, I was told that he was an unaltered male, approximately 2 - 5 years old. When I took him to the veterinarian that afternoon, I was told he was definitely an unaltered male but was really more like 8 years old. Buddy is blind in one eye from cataracts and has beginning cataracts in the other eye. He is amazingly smart, very loving and a great boy. Unfortunately, my health has taken a serious turn and I am unable to walk him and give him the exercise he needs. I am on oxygen and have only 30% lung function in my right lung, with ongoing asthma. I have also been recently diagnosed with congestive heart failure. I don't want to take Buddy to the shelter here because he was already rescued once from a "kill shelter" and he deserves to be with someone who can love him and let him love them back. It's not fair to Buddy that I cannot take care of him the way he deserves. Through no fault of his own, he has forgotten some of his potty break training (my inability to walk him) amd would need some attention in this area. Please help me find a home for Buddy. It breaks my heart to have to let him go, I love him. But I love him enough to know he deserves a better life than what I can give him. Due to Buddy's age there is NO ADOPTION FEE for him. We only want him to get a good home. Buddy is neutered and up to date on shots. He is located in Florence, KY |
