| CHIP Chip is a a purebred male Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier. His DOB is 4/16/05 Chip is a owner turn-in. Some info from them: My parents are 76 years old and have a Wheaten. He has had obedience training and will heel on leash and will come when called, IF there is not a cat or squirrel near by. He has been great with grand kids, very tolerant of them and has never bitten a human. But he can't seem to get along with other dogs, as he has bitten three other dogs. The latest a border owned by their daughter in law. My father is a practical farmer and just wants to put the dog down as he can't abide its behavior with other dogs and he can't afford it grooming and care any longer. Would this dog be suitable for your rescue program? He behaves like a gentleman around my mother as she scolds him like a child and he seems to understand her and lies down in his corner. Too bad but they can't keep him anymore, too much work. Chip will need a home where he is the only pet. He is also blind in one eye. Chip is neutered and up to date on shots.
