| EMMIE Emmie is a female Wheatable. Her estimated DOB is 6/07. Emmie was turned into a all-kill shelter. This shelter does not adopt out any dogs - if Rescue does not save them they are euthanized. The reason given for turning her into the shelter was that she was dog aggressive. Emmie is fine with other dogs when there are no people around. However she does get jealous and can start fights if another dog is getting attention. She will do best in a home where she is the only dog or with an owner willing to work with her in training. We feel this behavior can be modified with training but will take commitment on the new owners side. Emmie is a very, very sweet girl. She loves attention and loves to shake hands. As you can see in the new pics and video, Emmie was recently groomed. Sometime in the pat she had a large hotspot on her hindquarters that has healed but she lost some fur from chewing at the area, the fur is already coming back in. Emmie is spayed, heartworm negative and up to date on shots. She is located in Kansas City, MO |
