Below is some info from them: We have recently made the extremely difficult decision that we need to find a new home for our loving, loyal, and intelligent wheaten named Jake. The primary reason is that our 2nd child was just born, and we simply don't have the ability to devote the energy we need to Jake while managing two young children. All three "kids" aren't getting what they need, so our hope is that by finding a new loving home for Jake everyone will benefit - he'll have more attention, as will our children. Jake is extremely cuddly and friendly with people. He enjoys sitting on our lap. He loves nothing more than a good shoulder massage. He sleeps loyally at the foot of our bed every night. Like some other Wheatens he is very expressive and human-like. He is very smart and trainable Despite the fact that we have virtually no time these days for training, he still executes sit/down/stay/come very well, and enjoys showing his obedience. Jake does have issues with aggression with other dogs. As a result he will need a home with no other pets and a fenced yard for exercise. In order to minimize the chances of a child accidentally letting him out we will only consider homes with children over 14 for this dog. Jake is neutered and up to date on shots.
