| JUDE Jude is a male Wheatable. His estimated DOB is 1/03 He was pulled from a local shelter where he was taken in due to being abused. He was horribly matted and actually had a large, heavy chain matted into the fur around his neck. The shelter tranquilized him to shave him and remove the chain but only got him half way shaved before their clippers broke. So, our first trip after leaving the shelter was straight to the groomer to finish the shaving. As you can see in the pictures, Jude is extremely underweight and will need to gain quite a bit of weight to be healthy again. Despite being so poorly treated, he is still a sweet guy. He is a bit nervous in crowded situations and is extremely loyal and protective of the people he knows and loves. He would do best in a home that is quiet, without a lot of strangers coming in and out. He will also benefit from obedience training. Jude is neutered, up to date on shots SEPTEMBER 2008 - A FOREVER HOME We have decided that Jude is very happy where he has been all along and is now the official mascot for the Rescue and will reside here with us permanently. He gets along well with other dogs but is not so interested in meeting new people so this is the best place for him to stay - King of his own little kingdom. |
