| Missouri Mill Six On Feb 3, 2007 a puppymill auction will was held here in Missouri and 6 Wheatens were saved from their lives in puppymill hell. We were contacted by another rescue person who had them and asked that we take them into rescue and find them new homes. We have 4 females and 2 males. One male, Sidney, has a injured paw that required a trip to the ER vet and will require surgery when he is neutered, and one female, Honey has a wound on her face that seems to be healing ok on its own. All the dogs are scared of course and acclimating themselves to their new lives. They will al go in to the vet in the next week and will be spayed and neutered, have their teeth cleaned and get whatever other issues they need taken care of addressed and get all their shots as well. The mill dogs always require a significant outlay of money in order to get them healthy enough to find forever homes. We could definitely use some Angel donations to help with these dogs! |

| SIDNEY Sidney is a 6 year old purebred male Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier. His DOB is 11/6/00 Sidney has a tear in his paw that will require surgery while he is being neutered. He is by far the most friendly and outgoing of these dogs, his tail wags a mile a minute and he is starting to give kisses. He was such a good dog at the vet and nearly 24 hours later has still not torn off his bandage! |
| Carlie Carlie is a 2 year old purebred female Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier. Her DOB is 9/9/04 Carlie is shy and scared but with love and care will get better in time. |
| Dory Dory is a 3 year old purebred female Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier. Her DOB is 8/5/03. She is also shy and scared but with love and care will get better in time. |
| Holly Holly is a 3 year old purebred female Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier. Her DOB is 9/27/03. She is also shy and scared but with love and care will get better in time. |

Honey is by far the most scared of all the dogs and needs a quiet home with people willing to work with her to overcome some of her fear. She has a wound on her face that seems to be healing well on its own.. |
| Milo Milo is a 1 year old purebred male Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier. His DOB is 4/9/05. He is the only one of the six who is not shaved down totally. Milo is a bit scared and shy but in much better shape than a lot of the mill dogs that come in, he will get much better with some time and effort of a patient owner. |

February 10 Update
Honey, Dory, Milo and Sidney all had their spays and neuters on Friday - they all required dental cleanings as well so
that was done at the same time. Holly and Carlie will be done on Monday. Honey had some rather deep wounds on her
face, it looks like she had been attacked by another dog, that were cleaned but they were too far healed to stitch at his
point. The vets went ahead and stitched up Sidney's paw pad and believe it will heal. He is such a good boy and does
not touch his bandages so they felt he would leave the stitches in long enough for the paw to heal. These dogs are all
sweet but very scared, all they need is homes to be gentle and kind and show them that people really can be good and
kind and life can be good. Thank you to all the wonderful people who have donated to their care - hopefully more
wonderful people will step up and offer these babies foster or forever homes where they can get the individual
attention they need.
