AMMIE

Ammie is a purebred female Soft Coated
Wheaten Terrier. Her estimated DOB is
8/02

Ammie was a release from a Missouri
Puppymill. The puppymiller promised to
"shoot her" if she was not taken into
rescue so here she is!

As you can see in the pictures, Ammie
came in overgrown and very matted -
they were also very dirty and smelly! We
will get new photos online after she has
been shaved down.

From her foster family:

Ammie is a very sweet dog she is starting
to walk a bit on a lead with no fighting.
She eats and sleeps with Abbie, they
follow one another all over the yard.

In a home with good people she will
blossom quickly. You can read more
about dogs from puppymills by visiting
the page on the website by clicking HERE.

UPDATE FROM HER FOSTER FAMILY

Ammie is the adventurous one, she
loves to roam the house and yard and
loves to be held. Today we got kisses
while we were trimming her, this shows
trust in us. She is afraid of loud noises,
she will bark a couple times and is done
with it and moves on to something else.
Both Ammie and Abbie are eating well
and taking water they sleep together in
the large crate and go in during the day
to rest. They like to lay on our wooden
floors as they are cool. Ammie has a
wonderfully calm nature and will make a
very good family pet. She gets on well
with our dogs and with other people at a
little distance until she is comfortable
with you.

She is spayed and up to date on shots.

DECEMBER 2008 - A FOREVER
HOME

Ammie has been adopted by the
