BAILEY

Bailey is a purebred female Soft Coated
Wheaten Terrier. Her DOB is 8/17/02

Bailey is a owner turn-in. She is being
given up because there is both and
infant and an elderly person in the house
as well as a business and there have
been a couple of instances of the person
being knocked off balance by the dog.

Below is some information from them:

She is a really sweet and very
affectionate girl, loves to lay on the
couch with almost anyone (especially
women) and cuddle. She also loves to
romp around, play and wrestle with our
son who is 10 and give him rides on his
skateboard while walking on a leash (we
have always used the gentle lead collar
though otherwise she'll choke herself
trying to drag you all over). We also have
an 8 month old baby and she is great
with her as well although she loves
giving her kisses right in the face and
licking all over her which we really don't
like. My son has friends over all the
time and she is great with all the kids
(she does jump at first though but she
calms down after a few minutes).

She was raised with a cat and did fine
with him. He was old so he didn't run
around or be frisky like younger cats
would so I'm not sure if she would be
good with other cats or not. She is fine
with other dogs.

She is not destructive at all and has
never chewed up a single thing. In fact,
she's never seemed very interested in
most toys. She will chew for a few days
on a new rawhide bone but it seems to
lose it's luster after that. She likes the
toys you put treats into until the treats
are gone.r.

We love Bailey and after having her for 6
years it's extremely hard to give her
away, but the issues we are having with
her are making life difficult for us (and
dangerous for my mother). Between our
new baby and my business being back in
my home we just don't have time for her
anymore so she isn't getting the
attention she needs. She deserves to be
with a family who has plenty of time to
give her the attention she craves. She is
really a great dog and has so many
positives, the few negatives that are big
for us at this point would be miniscule
for the right family willing to train her and
give her better manners. We want to see
her placed in a wonderful home and we
like how your organization screens
people and matches the dogs with the
people to make everyone happy. We
hope you will be able to help us too.

Bailey is spayed and up to date on shots.
She is already microchipped and is
located in the Dallas/Ft. Worth TX area
