| BARKLEE Barklee is a a purebred male Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier. His DOB is 12/6/09 Barklee is a owner turn-in. Some info from them: I had contacted you previously about our first wheaten. We have reached a point where he is grabbing my small Welsh Terrier by the back of the neck and clamping his jaws around her throat. I’m sure he thinks he’s just playing, but we have decided that Barklee probably would do better in a single dog home, or at least one with another Wheaten. I would prefer he be placed in a family who is acquainted with the breed. The stress level for my 84-year-old mother is too great and this is not a decision we come by easily. It’s heartbreaking all the way around. Barklee's previous owner is an 84 yr old woman and Barklee has not had much training. He has decided that he is in charge and will need a strong owner who can take charge and work with him to become a good canine citizen. We will require obedience classes as a condition of adoption and will not consider any homes with children under 14 for this dog. Barklee is neutered and up to date on shots. |
