| BEAU Beau is a 3 year old Purebred Male Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier. He is neutered and up to date on his shots. Beau has had a hard time the last few months. He was sent to an animal shelter by his first owners after he nipped a 3 year old child in a tussle over dropped food. He was adopted from the shelter by a home with no small children, but there was another dog which turned out to be a bad thing, since this dog apparently was very dominant and would not tolerate another dog in the house. A fight broke out between the two dogs and someone was bitten as a result, so once again Beau has lost his home and is looking for a new one. Beau has made a lot of progress while in foster care. He has shown absolutely no aggression towards humans while in foster care. He is very sweet and loving and quite intelligent. He comes immediately when called, is crate trained and will willing go into his crate with a simple command. We will not place him in a home with small children but I think he would be fine with older, dog experienced children. He is a alpha dog and if he is placed in a home iwth another dog it would have to be with a dog that has no aggressive tendencies and is very friendly with other dogs. Beau has made friends with and plays very well with several of the other dogs in foster but will fight if another dog acts aggressively towards him. 8/2003 - A FOREVER HOME Beau has been adopted by the Gandy family of Texas CONGRATULATIONS! |
