| BENNY Benny is a 10+ year old male Wheatable. Benny has a very sad story, he was found sitting in a lane of a freeway by a good samaritan. After he was rescued it was discovered that Benny is both blind and deaf. The area that Benny was found in was a rural area with no homes close by. There is no way this old, disabled dog got there by himself so we can only assume that some horrible person dumped him out there to be killed by a car, Benny is a very sweet and loving boy and very smart. He has learned different touches mean to go outside and time to eat. He figures out his environment quickly and adapts to it, rarely bumping into things after he has oriented himself to his surroundings. He loves to go out into the yard and wander about but always finds his way back to the front porch and barks to be let back in. He loves people and likes to cuddle up close and just be loved. Due to Benny's age and disabilities he will have a reduced adoption fee. We would very much like for Benny to find a home of his own to live out his life in comfort and safety. The person who brings Benny into their life will be extremely lucky. Benny is UTD on shots and neutered. AUGUST 2004 - A FOREVER HOME! Benny has been adopted by the Bowen Family of Illinois.
