| Bucky Bucky is a purebred male Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier. His DOB is 12/30/04 He is a owner turn-in. Below is part of their email about him. I am writing on behalf of my mother who has a Wheaten Terrier. We have decided that it would be best to surrender the dog so he find a better suited home mainly because my moms inactivity the dog does not get walked. He rarely gets played with and is very active and loves attention:( My mom does the best she can but has knee and joint problems. We think that Bucky could have a better qualify of life with children or a couple or single person who is active and will walk Bucky and or take him to dog parks. He is a very sweet dog and has never bitten anyone he is a beta and non aggressive even towards cats. He likes to try to play with the cats but they just ignore him! Bucky is active and very excited when my mom first gets home and then he calms down He knows some tricks and commands we used the baaah method and he is crate trained to sleep in his crate/den he goes right in it. The owner reported some allergies with Bucky and has given him prednisone. We will recommend his food be changed to a wheat/corn free diet which will hopefully solve the issue, long term prednisone use is not recommended.
