| CASEY Casey is a 6 year old purebred female Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier. She is a owner turn-in. They had two female Wheatens that, as happens very frequently, began to fight when the dogs reached 3 years of age. For the safety of both dogs they are doing the right thing and giving one dog up to rescue. They loved both dogs and could not decide which dog to give up and asked us to decide. Heartbreaking situations such as the one these owners have had to go through are why was always recommend people on own opposite sex Wheatens and why we only place them that way through rescue. From the owner: "Casey is a typical Wheaten, she is playful and expressive, she has boundless energy and is housebrom. She has been crated though we do not close the door except when we leave from more than a few hours. She is a good watch dog." She is spayed and up to date on shots and is located in Oswego, IL May 4 Update We have determined that Casey will do best in a home where she is the only dog and will only be considering applicants without another pet.
