CHASE

Chase is an approx. 8 month old
purebred male Soft Coated Wheaten
Terrier.

He has a very strange story. A woman
was walking her dog in Queens, NY
when a man ran up to her with Chase on
a leash. He told her that he wanted her
to take him or he was just going to let
him loose in the middle of the city. The
woman told him he should take the dog
to the shelter but the man said he had
to get the dog "out of his apartment"
and he was letting him loose. Well,
thankfully the woman did not want to
see him running loose where he could
get hurt or killed and took him home
and contacted us.

As you can see in these pics, his coat is
severely matted. As the man ran off
without telling her anything about the
dog, not even his name, we don't know
anything about him.

Chase is underweight and will need to
gain a few pounds but will most likely be
a small Wheaten. He weighed in at only
14 lbs. at the vet.

He is  very sweet, although
undisciplined, but in no way aggressive
and will be ready for adoption very
quickly.

The pictures on the right were taken
when he was received into rescue and
the ones on the left are after he was
shaved down which was done at the
same time he was neutered.

Chase is UTD on shots and neutered.
