| Clara is a 7 month old purebred female Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier. Clara was given up to a veterinarian by her owners after she was diagnosed with Addison's disease. They did not feel they could take care of her properly with several small children in the home and another one on the way. The vet contacted us and asked that we take her into rescue and find her a good home that could take care of her. Addison's disease is very treatable and Clara can live a long and happy life with a daily pill and a monthly shot. Anyone interested in adopting her should research this condition and speak with their vet to make sure this is condition they feel comfortable in dealing with. Clara is extremely sweet and friendly with both people and other animals and will make a wonderful pet for the right home. She is already spayed and up to date on shots and comes with a 2 month supply of the pills needed to treat her Addison's which were donated by the vet who contacted us.
