| DICKENS Dickens is an approximately 2 year old male Wheatable. No clue as to what he may be mixed with. He is a normal Wheaten size, mostly blonde with some gray coloring mixed in on his face and chest. Dickens has had a hard time of it, adopted and returned twice to a animal shelter in Montana. Really no fault of his own, he was allowed to run wild and received no training and he is a bit of an escape artist. The people in MT felt he was a special boy who deserved another chance and a transport was set up to bring him all the way to Missouri so he would find a good home and not end up back in the shelter again. Dickens is extremely agile. He can and will leap right over a 4 ft. fence. He will need a tall fence or an owner that will take him out on a leash. He is extremely sweet and very puppylike. Needs some guidance and training but is very eager to please. He will probably do best in a home with older children as his is very rambunctious and gives the "Wheaten Greetin" with a great deal of energy. He is not aggressive at all but may be a bit overwhelming with a small child with all his exuberance. Dickens is neutered and up to date on shots and ready for his forever home! OCTOBER 2005 - A FOREVER HOME Dickens has been adopted by Colleen McMahon of Wisconsin CONGRATULATIONS! |
