DOOGAN

Doogan is a 9 month old
purebred male Soft Coated
Wheaten Terrier.

He was a owner turn-in. The
reason is one of the more
common ones for why
Wheatens are given up. The
family had a small child and
Doogan treated that child like
a littermate, jumping up on
him, knocking him down,
mouthing, etc. Doogan was
not being mean, he just
wanted to play and Wheaten
puppies play rough. This is the
reason that we do not
consider homes with children
under 6. Doogan will be fine
with a child over 10 who is
assertive enough to tell him
NO when he gets too playful.

Doogan is very outgoing and
friendly. Gets along great with
the other dogs in the foster
home. He would do well with a
sister dog to play with and
help run off some of that
puppy energy.

Doogan is a BIG Wheaten boy.
He is easily twice the size of
other Wheatens of his age.
Guesstimate of about 45+ lbs.
He is not fat, in fact could gain
a couple of lbs, he is just a
large boy. Wheatens are
generally full grown by around
10 months of age so we don't
expect him to get much bigger.

He is neutered and up to date
on shots and located in
Kansas City, MO
