| EMMIE Emmie is a 9 year old purebred female Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier Emmie has had a hard life, she lived most of it in a cage in a Missouri puppymill, producing Missouri puppymill, producing those cute little puppies that people buy in petstores. Thankfully, when they were throught breeding her she was released to rescue. You can see pics and read the story of the rescue of all the dogs from the mill and all the medical treatments they received by clicking HERE. All the dogs released from the mill required extensive medical treatment but they have all been taken care of now and are ready for happy lives. Emmie is a very sweet, gentle girl. She is the shyest out of the bunch. She is fine with other dogs but not good with cats. Emmie came into rescue extremely underweight and is still working on gaining it back. It will probably be December before she is ready to be placed. Due to her age and the fact that many people donated to cover her medical bills, her adoption fee is reduced to $100.
