| FAOLIN Faolin is a 9 year old purebred Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier. His DOB is 7-02-97. His name is pronounced FAY-lynne and it is gaelic for wolf. Faolin is a owner-turn in. His owner was elderly and had to have a knee replacement and could no longer care for Faolin due to the rehabilitation needed for her recovery. Faolin is in good health and has had obedience training. The owner reports he is fine with other dogs but not with cats. He is neutered, up to date on shots and is located in Jamaica Plain, MA Feb 26 Update Faolin is now safely out of the boarding kennel and with his new foster mom. Faolin is very, very thin. We don't know if he got that way before or after being in the kennel but his foster mom is working on fattening him up. He has a healthy appetite and is eating all he is given so we believe it is a lack of food problem, not a medical problem at this point in time. Description from his new foster mom: Faolin is a charmer with a sweet, cheerful personality and a good heart. He greets everyone, even strangers, with gentle kisses. He loves to stand with his paws on the front window sill and wag his tail at people passing by. It's hard to believe Faolin is almost 10 years old from the way he romps and plays in the yard with our dogs. He already has established himself as "top dog". He walks well on a leash and knows basic commands. When he's in the house he is very calm. He's either quietly following us around or he is napping in his favorite dog bed.
