| GRACIE Gracie is a purebred female Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier. Her DOB is 6/12/08 Gracie is an owner turn-in. Below is some info from them: We have two children ages 8 and 4 1/2. Gracie is great the majority of the time but every once in a while she just gets excited and starts running around the house like she has way too much energy that she needs to burn off all of the sudden. Early last October ('09) she did this and then charged at our daughter (4 1/2), jumped and nipped at her face causing her lip to bleed. Earlier today our son (8 yrs. old) was outside watching the snowfall when I let Gracie out in the yard with him. After a few minutes of sniffing around the yard Gracie started her "low and go" running quick circles around the yard. She ran up to our son, jumped up at his face and nipped him in the nose...drawing blood from his inside right nostril. I honestly think she was just excited and wanted to entice them to play with her but we can't take any chances of her doing this again. As Gracie is too rambunctious around small children we will only consider homes with children over 12 for this dog. Gracie is still very young and just needs some direction in her life to become a good canine citizen. Gracie is spayed and up to date on shots.
