| GUS Gus is a 2 year old purebred male Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier. His DOB is 5/25/05 He is a owner turn-in. Below is part of the email we received about him: I have two Wheatens, one is 7 years and one is three. I have to find a home for the 3 year old, Gus, as my older male Wheaten has gone after him for the 3rd time and this last time became a full fledged fight. This has caused me a real heartache because I love them both but I am afraid that one of them (or both) will become severely injured if this happens again. Because I have had Wheaties, the longest, I must give up Gus. I have had Gus since he was 1 year old and I have two other dogs besides the Wheatens and he has never offered to bother them (both male and female) nor had to defend himself either. He is the typical energetic male Wheaten, loves his walks, loves an ice cube when I go to the refrigerator, has never made any attempt to hurt any human being or any other dog, but will defend himself when attacked. He has never chewed or displayed any bad habits, is crate trained although I haven't used that for over a year.
