Honey

Honey is a 3 year old purebred female
Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier. Her DOB
is 9/4/03.

Honey is by far the most scared of all
the dogs and needs a quiet home with
people willing to work with her to
overcome some of her fear.

She has a wound on her face that
seems to be healing well on its own.

August update from her foster mom:

Honey has come a long way from her
puppymill days. She still has some trust
issues when meeting new people and
leaving the house - but otherwise is
making huge progress. You can see by
the new pictures she is a real cutie.

When I first met her about 2.5 months
ago her tail never moved from between
her legs and she migrated to the first
available corner in the house or yard.
Since this was my first foster
experience I really did not know what to
expect or if I'd even be able to help her.
I always remained kind, gentle and
patient. My goal was - if I can get her to
wag her tail I've done a good job. Well
the other day after just over 2 monts or
so - she was no longer seeking the
corner of the yard, she was exploring
the house and actually wagging her
little tail. I was so proud and happy for
her.

She really is a very sweet and loving
dog. She still requires a quiet home and
someone with alot of patience. But
she'd make a great companion for the
right person.

Honey is spayed and up to date on
shots.
