Hudson is a 3 year old purebred female Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier. She is a owner turn-in by a round about method. She was signed over to her dog walker by her owner who did not want to be bothered with a dog any longer and then the walker in turn has signed her over to us. Hudson is your typical strong willed and stubborn alpha Wheaten. She will need a home with a family who is committed to working with her in training She has spent far too much time living in her crate and has developed "crate boldnesss" meaning that she will willingly go into the crate but when the door is being closed will growl and lunge at the door. This behavior is not uncommon and can be stopped with proper training. She is reported to be very friendly with people and other dogs but we will not consider any homes with children under 14 for this dog and enrollment in obedience classes will be a condition of adoption with Hudson.
