JACK

Jack is a 2.5 yr old purebred male Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier.

He is a owner give up below if part of their write up about him:

Jack (aka Jackie or Jackson) is a great looking Wheaten. People always
ask if he is a show dog. He is filled with love and affection. He needs to
be around caring, loving people. He will choose some petting and
cuddling over a treat any day. He is completely house and crate trained.
He sleeps in his crate every night.  He has been to obedience school. He
comes to his name, sits, lies down and knows "leave it". He has been
professionally groomed every six weeks or so since he was a pup. We
tend to keep his coat short (first because we lived in the hot Arizona
desert, and now because he loves to run and play in our woodsy
backyard). The groomer always compliments his "gentlemanly" behavior
on the grooming table.

Jack absolutely loves spending time indoors with the family. He craves
attention from people. At the same time, he is extremely happy running
around the yard chasing away the squirrels. He is an emotional and
caring dog that just wants to please.

The decision to give Jack up has been most difficult. He is part of our
family, and it is hard to let him go. We have chosen to place Jack on the
adoption list bcause he does not like most other dogs, and he goes on
the offensive when they are around (especially larger dogs). He gets
along with our other Wheaten, but he has known  her since he first came
to our home. He has, on occassion, turned his offensive on her. He has
shown nothing but love for all of the people in his life, including our 15
month old daughter. Our biggest fear is that she will get caught in the
"cross-fire" if Jack gets upset with another dog. This has never
happend, but we cannot live with the risk.

Jack needs a home without other dogs or cats. He needs a place to run
and play. He would be find with older children. Most importantly he
needs someone to shower him with love. He truly is a great dog; this is
just not the right home for him. We will miss him dearly, and know he will
make someone very happy.

We will send Jack with his crate, dog bed and favorite toys so that he
feels at ease when he get to his new home.

Jack is UTD on shots and neutered.
