Jefferson

Jeffy is an approx. 1 year old Wheatable. We
believe he is one of a set of 3 Wheaten/Sheltie
mixes that a backyard breeder bred and sold to
an individual in the Kansas City area. Two of
those 3 got loose from the person who bought
them and were running loose. Eventually all 3 of
the dogs ended up in a local kill shelter.

Jeffy was a running loose and so scared of
people that animal control had to use a trap in
order to catch him. He is doing much better in
his temporary foster home but is still fearful and
startles easily.

The picture below shows Jeffy with another one
of the original 3 dogs, Truman. Truman was just
as shy and fearful as Jeffy is when he was
adopted. He has been in his forever home for
just 3 months and he has blossomed and
become a normal, happy Wheatable boy. We are
sure that Jeffy will make the same
transformation as Truman in the right loving
home.

He is being neutered immediately and getting
his shots UTD.

Jeffy is a smaller sized dog, he weighs under 25
lbs. but could stand to gain a couple more.
