Josie is a 1.5 year old purebred female
Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier

Josie was a owner turn-in. They were
having severe money problems and
could not afford to buy groceries for
themselves, much less a high quality
dog food for Josie. So, although they
loved her, they did what was best for her
and placed her with rescue to find a
home that could take care of her
properly.

Thankfully we were able to make
arrangements and get Josie picked up
within a few hours of the original email
so she is now safe. From her foster mom:

"Josie is picked up and she is a
sweetheart. Rides well in the car and
loves to hand out the kisses. She needs
a bath and a brushing but that's it. She
had her first brush with the pool. She
hasn't been around one before and
apparently thought it was a step instead
of water.  Rick was already in the pool
and rescued her. It looks like she has
forgiven him now. She is at the edge of
the pool getting attention."

Josie seems to be in great health and
has no behavioral problems other than a
little urination when she gets very
excited which is fairly common.

She is spayed and UTD on shots and is
located in Phoenix, AZ
