Minnesota
Mill Release

Once again we have been
contacted to help several
Wheatens who are being
released from their lives in a
puppymill hell.

Our information, as it stands now,
is there are 4 females and 5
males. Two of the females, Daisy
and Betsy, have been released.
We are expecting a list of the
names and agres of all the other
dogs in the next couple of days.

Each one of these dogs will need
extensive veterinary work. We
have received initial estimates
from a vet there in Minnesota of
approx. $500 per dog.

Daisy has already had her
spaying and dental work done. As
you can see in the pictures, her
teeth were a mess and she lost 4
of them but they cleaned up
nicely.

Betsy is scheduled to go in and
get her surgeries and dental
work on Feb. 24.

All of these dogs are in need of
forever/foster homes.

Daisy, a 7 year old female, is
ready to go now and if at all
possible we would like to get her
into a home the weekend of Feb.
25. She gets along well with
other dogs, and is learning to
live in a home. She is a bit
skittish and shy but is coming
around and starting to give
kisses. If you are interested in
fostering Daisy, please contact
us ASAP

Betsy will also be in need of a
foster home in a few days. She
also gets along well with other
animals as you can see in her
pictures.

All the dogs will be spayed or
neutered prior to adoption, have
all necessary vet work done and
be up to date on shots.

The are all located in the
Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN area.

2/27 Update

Daisy has moved to a foster
home in Wisconsin. She still has
some badly infected ears that are
being treated. Betsy will be
moving to a foster home in the
next few days, we will post more
information on the other dogs as
soon as it becomes available.

2/28 Updated List & Update on
Betsy

Below is a list of the other dogs
that need to come into rescue.
We will need foster/forever
homes for all of them. We are
trying to get pictures but may not
be able to until they are
released. If you are interested in
one of these dogs, please fill out
a foster application on the
Main
Page and send an email directly

Upate on Betsy

Betsy is such a sweet dog who
wants to shake hands with
everyone now. She has not had
an accident in the house yet and
enjoys lying in the sun by my
bedroom window all day. She
goes outside often and is quite
playful with my puppies. The only
aggressive behavior she's
shown was when both se and
Daisy were here with my puppies,
there was some jealousy then.
She is very well behaved in the
car too. She sould be ready to go
anytime now.

April 23 Update

Betsy has been adopted and
Daisy is ready to go to a forever
home. She is a very sweet and
loving dog, gets along with other
dogs well. She does not get
along with cats however and will
need a home with no cats.

Daisy is located in Little Chute, WI

We also have 2 more coming in
soon and will hve info on them in
the near future.
