| MURPHY Murphy is a purebred male Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier. He will be 2 in December. From the owner: He is very lovable and loyal to his owner. He seems to take more to women than men. He will follow you around the house like a shadow and prefers to be in the same room as the family. He sleeps in our bedroom on the floor. He is crate trained but he is only crated when I go out. Usually not more than 2 hours at a time. He will bark if someone comes to the door or when he hears you pull up. Other than that he's not a barker. He loves to run, but if you leave him in the yard he may whine to come back in. He has been around other dogs, I have 2 Akitas. He will jump and play with them. He does have a dominance thing and will not back down. He has challenged my alpha dog on several occassions and I have had to break them up. In order to avoid any more episodes I am unfortunately forced to give him up. He does chew, but if you give him his own toys he is content with them. He does like children, I have a 3 yr. old who plays with him and he has never been aggressive. He has some formal training, knows how to sit and lay. Occassionally he will pull on his lead. He will need someone who has the time and patience to work with him. Whoever does take him will be awarded a wealth of love and loyalty. He is a great little dog.
