POGO

Pogo  is a purebred female Soft Coated
Wheaten Terrier. Her estimated DOB is
12/05

Pogo was found as a stray. Information
from the person who found her is below:

I found a Wheaton Terrier about a week
ago.   I have taken the dog to my Vet who
gave her a quick check up. The doctor
gave her a Rabies shot and kennel
cough shot so  I could get her groomed.
Basically she needed to be shaved as
her hair was all matted and dirty.  The Vet’
s office scanned her and she did have
an RFID tag.  The Vet obtained the phone
numbers registered to the tag but 2 were
disconnected; People answered at 2
more phone numbers but said they didn’t
own the dog and they left a message at
the last number but we have never
received a call back.

The dog has a very sweet temperament;
playful and loving.  She jumps a lot ( I’m
calling her Pogo because of that) and
she has not aggressively bitten me.  She
does tend to use her mouth a bit when
she is playing.  I have another dog and a
cat and everyone gets along well.

Update from Foster Mom:

I am very pleased with Pogo.  She is such
a doll and very loving and affectionate.
Pogo is a little Princess.  She is very
petite and the typical size for a Wheaten.
I think she weighs about 25-30 pounds.

As the first foster reported, Pogo jumps
like a Pogo Stick.  The name is very
appropriate and she comes to that
name.  She loves to jump and gives a
very exuberant Wheaten Greetin when
you come in the house.  Pogo is quite
funny as she will seem to bank jump off
of you to gain more height.  She has a
mountain goat mentality and likes to get
as high as possible in the room.  If you
are laying on the couch, she wants to be
laying on you.  If you are sitting on the
couch, she wants to sit on the arm of the
couch.  If you are in bed, she wants to lay
by your head.  She loves to find your ear
and give kisses.  She is not stingy with
love at all.  Pogo is a cuddle bug.  She is
very energetic and loves to play with the
others.

Pogo will makes someone a wonderful
pet.  She does not meet strangers and is
very friendly to all people and animals
from my observance.  She has done well
with my older nieces and nephews and
with the other dogs here at my home.  I
am very pleased overall with her attitude
and behavior.  She is not aggressive in
any way.

Pogo is spayed and up to date on shots.
