PYPER

Pyper is a purebred female Soft Coated
Wheaten Terrier. Her estimated DOB is
8/05

She is a owner turn-in. Below is some
information from them:

About two and a half years ago my
husband and I took in a very cute and
extremely adorable puppy from a young
lady I had been working with that was in
the reserves and was being deployed to
Iraq. We agreed to accept the dog as our
own as I know how hard shuffling around
can be for a dog, especially a young
puppy. At the time, I was   working and
my husband and I had a steady planned
future. I am a diabetic although I was in
great health and was fairly physically
active. I already had two miniature
schnauzers but I had raised many
puppies in the past so another dog did
not seem to be a big deal at all. In the
past two years many things have
changed. My health has not been steady
and I do not have the energy or reliability
factor to keep a full time job. I have also
found that I have a diagnosis of severe
depression and I have been struggling
to deal with that as well as my patience is
not what it should be.

A little about Pyper now. Since these
things have been affecting me I was not
very responsible about socializing her
and have found her to be a bit skittish
and sometimes scared of other animals.
She will sniff other dogs and wag her
nub indicating that she wants to be
friendly and play and then an instant
later she turns around and grows barks
viciously while biting at the other animal.
I have thought of many ways I might try to
help her and some I have tried, but
truthfully I am sure that I can’t handle
this.   She had always gotten along well
with our schnauzers before, but recently
has started to pick fights with them as
well. To compound matters, my husband
had to take a lower paying job and we
are really struggling to make ends meet.
We have to sell our home and most
apartments or town homes will only
accept two dogs. Pyper has many great
qualities though. She is a comical, happy
dog most of the time, who adores humans
and is extremely loyal to my husband.
She greets us   with a wagging nub and
wiggly butt every time we see her. She
gives lots of big slobbery kisses. She
loves her tummy rubbed and is very
good with the vet or anytime any person
looks at her. She is a bouncy  perpetual
puppy!

Pyper is spayed and up to date on shots.
