| SANDY Wheaten Terrier. Her DOB is 8/8/03 familiar one, two female dogs not getting along and fighting. From the owner: We love Sandy and my kids are heartbroken at the thought of parting from her. She is a beautiful, sweet dog. I know I have to find a new home for one of the dogs and because she is the one initiating the aggression, I feel the need to remove Sandy. I wish I knew all of the info on your website before now. For instance, we have an electric fence. Our yard is not really suitable for a regular fence. We have a collar on Sandy only because she runs off and Lexy doesn't and I'm sure this is making Sandy jealous. We had a male Wheaten who was 4 years older than Sandy and they got along great. He was a wanderer too and he got hit by a truck 21/2 years ago. We have always loved the breed. My two Wheatens got along great. Also up til the time the trouble started, Sandy and Lexy got along great. Sandy was very maternal toward Lexy and protective of her. They played rough but it was strictly play. I wish I had known that it wasn't a good idea to have two females. Can you help us find a loving home for Sandy? We would be very grateful to you. Sandy is spayed and up to date on shots JUNE 2008 - A FOREVER HOME Sandy has been adopted by the Denniston Family of Maine CONGRATULATIONS! |
