| SASHA Sasha is a purebred female Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier. Her estimated DOB is 1/06. Sasha, along with Daisy and Jake were breeding dogs in a Amish Puppymill. Luckily for them, they were released and we were contacted by another rescue and asked to take them in and find them good homes. All three dogs were matted and caked with manure and are being shaved down. We will get more pictures of them online soon. Please don't judge them based on their haircuts - it is only fur and it will grow back and they will be beautiful Wheatens again! From her foster mom: Sasha is the smallest of the three and definitely the most timid she prefers to hide in the corner and just watch what is going on, she seems the most traumatized at this point so we are waiting to shave her until tomorrow and give her a little time to adjust, she loves to lay with Daisy in a corner. She, like the others have been exploring their new surroundings and rode very well in the car. Foster mom update #2 Sasha, oh poor sasha continues to cower in the corner or her crate, although we have been cleaning her ears with the same ear flush as Daisy hers are pretty dirty and she sat on my husband's lap for about 15min with minimal resistance. Foster mom update #3 She had a very big day yesterday, she came outside in the backyard with the other dogs without us having to get her out of her crate!!! She did it all by herself and you could tell how proud she was of herself, we saw her run in the yard for the first time ever and sniff around and then she simply followed the other dogs back inside!!!! I was practically in tears I was so proud of her!!! We are just waiting for that first kiss!!! Sasha is spayed and up to date on shots.
